Job Responsibilities

We are now announcing a position for a senior dentist in the Pediatric Dentistry department at the Specialist Dental Care of Region Halland.

Currently, we have two senior dentists at the clinic in Halmstad, one senior dentist in Varberg, and two dental hygienists associated with the department. We have a well-established collaboration between the clinics at Halland Hospital and among the specialties within our operations. In the Pediatric Dentistry department, we treat patients referred from other departments in the hospital such as the Children and Youth Clinic, as well as from Public Dental Care and private dental care.

The job responsibilities include all areas within pediatric dentistry, including patient treatment, training of healthcare and general dental staff, and participation in research and development projects.

About the Workplace

The Specialist Dental Care of Halland consists of two units located in Halmstad and Varberg, where all dental specialties are represented. The clinic has a long tradition of education, research, and development work. We conduct specialist training and continuing education for dentists, dental hygienists, and dental nurses. The clinic employs over 90 people.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a licensed dentist with specialist competence in Pediatric Dentistry or are about to complete your specialist training shortly.
